Osceola County has some of the best pheasant hunting in Iowa with over 40 areas and 1,600 acres of public hunting lands.

Fishing for largemouth bass, sunfish and channel catfish is good at the Ocheyedan Pits, Ashton pit and Willow Creek Lake.
